Restylane® and Perlane®

Restylane® and Perlane® are cosmetic dermal fillers made of hyaluronic acid that replace lost volume and restore youthful contours to the skin to smooth away moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds). Restylane® is the worlds most used, most studied dermal filler, and has been used in over 70 countries and in more than 1.4 million treatments in the U.S. for over 15 years.

FAQs

What is Hyaluric acid?

It is a natural substance that already exists in the human body and is used to provide volume and fullness to the skin.

Is Restylane® Safe?

Yes. Because Restylane® is non-animal-based and fully biocompatible, allergy testing is not required.

How long does Restylane® last?

The average treatment results last four-six months but even longer after repeated use. Some patients have results for greater than 1 year after repeated treatments.

How is Restylane® different from BOTOX®?

Restylane® is a natural, cosmetic filler. In contrast, BOTOX® is a medicine that blocks nerve transmission and relaxes the underlying muscles.

How is Restylane® different from Collagen?

Collagen is derived from animals (cow) and requires an allergy test. Collagen lasts only 2-3 months. Because Restylane® is non-animal based, it can be administered without pretesting, so no waiting is required.

How much do the treatments cost?

Treatments vary from $600-$1,800 per treatment depending on the number of vials used.
