Sun Laxity Lines
While everyone ages, not everyone wants to see visible reminders of the natural aging process. As people get older, collagen fibers found in the skin degenerate, leading to a skin condition known as skin laxity. The skin loses its natural, youthful firmness and begins to appear loose and saggy. Skin laxity can develop enough that it becomes a distraction from other aspects of a person's natural beauty. Loose and saggy skin on any part of the body can make people look older and less vibrant and energetic than they feel.
Loose skin can occur nearly anywhere on the body. Though lax facial skin is often the most noticeable, loose skin can also appear under the neck, chin, and arms, as well as on the hands, abdominal area, and thighs. Regardless of where skin laxity develops, the condition can exacerbate the appearance of age.
